What is the difference between fellowships and scholarships?

Another main difference between these grants is that scholarships usually last till the semester of the secondary education and is provided to meet school expenses. However, a fellowship last for longer period depending on the capacity of the task involved and is provided in increments every month instead of wholesome awards.
